Early 1900s Whole-House Restoration

The house to be remodeled was a 6,000-square-foot home including 2.5 stories, 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 half-baths (formal and informal), informal and formal living spaces and a formal dining room. Built in 1914, the house’s family room had originally been an au pair suite and was mostly closed off from the kitchen. The remodel focused on finding innovative ways to update the home’s floor plan to fit the family’s modern lifestyle without losing the home’s timeless charm.
